Where There is Togetherness

NOTES

Where There is Togetherness starts from the quietest kernels of sound playing sporadically and separately. The sounds pass through phases of synchronised rhythms and scattered noise. These moments of togetherness juxtaposed against sections of disjunction
give us perspective on how we listen, think, and interact with the world. As the instruments move into and out of moments of togetherness, the audience is reminded of the need to honour singularity while existing in harmony.

This piece was originally written to accompany a choreographed dance, and as such the music functions as incidental music for the visual performance.
